LYNNWOOD — The Cheesecake Factory is coming to Alderwood mall.
Construction is underway to redevelop the east side of the shopping center, where the former Sears building has been vacant since last year.
The building will be replaced by 175,160 square feet of “retail, restaurant and entertainment” space, according to notices posted at the site. The notices reference The Cheesecake Factory.
The chain is known for offering large platters of food and for its namesake dessert. This will be the first venture for the chain in Snohomish County and its fifth in Washington.
